I am a dreamer who loves quiet moments. I am intuitive and passionate, but not impulsive. In chaotic situations (like a wedding), I throw myself into the experience, feeling joyful and alive. Weddings are my happy place. I love everything weddings. I love your ring. I love your dress. I love the way you look at each other. I even love that someone in the planning process is probably freaking out right now. Weddings have both quiet contemplative moments and highly charged chaos with challenges, deadlines and beauty.
It is art and adventure combined!
I believe in sharing images and knowledge. I’m okay with making room for your guests to take pictures next to me — or offering up camera tips and tricks. And I understand why clients need digital results for their own reasons. Part of what makes me different, is the openness I have regarding digital media.

A self portrait with the Canon 35mm f1.2L. People say not to use that lens for portraits. So… of course… (after renting it for a wedding) that was the first thing I did. The public consensus is that 35mm creates too much barrel distortion for a good portrait. It makes your nose look bigger and your face seem rounder…. And I agree. I did have to do a perspective adjustment on this image. But I noticed, you can get really close with it. It gives a startlingly intimate feel. And so I like it.
Also — I love editing photos.
I love making regular people look like they would if they suddenly became celebrities.
My skin is NOT that flawless. But it is in Photoshop. And yours will be too.
