The morning of April 9th was cool and crisp with daffoldils nestled into snowy patches of grass. But it was still a gorgeous day for a wedding! Especially one in such an enchanting old church!
Here are Audie and Leah’s getting details. Don’t you love the cornflower blue shoes!
Her lovely silk gown is from the J Crew line (which just keeps getting more fabulous!) Check them out if you are searching for a dress line that is sleek, romantic, elegant and practical. The richness of the fabric is even visible in photographs. This is truly a 100% real silk gown!
They took a moment before the ceremony for a private “first look”.
And then were married in one of the sweetest traditional ceremonies I’ve seen. I adore blushing brides and estatic grooms. Look how happy they are!
We did their formal portraits on the steps of First United,
…and then headed to The Radisson for the reception!
The details were lovely there as well. This is the famous “Kalamazoo Room” in the lower level. It’s discreet and intimate with a “private party” feel, and neutral enough to showcase any color palate.
And just look at the super fun photo op couches in the hall!!!
