ALMOST FANTASY

Sometimes things truly special are just right under your nose! I met Trish and Nick through a mutual friend in Kalamazoo. While discussing their wedding, we started brainstorming for location ideas, and found that we were all familiar with the same rural areas! In fact, one of the pieces of land they thought of was my parent’s next door neighbor’s house! It was so inspiring to roam over familiar ground and see it all with new eyes. Plus, Trish and Nick were ever so fun, full of laughter and open, unassuming, happy energy. We had to fight the sun a bit, but for a late October engagement session, it was a gorgeous opportunity to capture warmth, sunlight, fall colors and love!
